A Hostage Situation

What to do when you find yourself in possession of your sister's (arguably prized) property:

Introduce it to the locals.

 Help it celebrate the holidays.

Make sure it stays nice and warm.

Butter it up by spending a relaxing Sunday morning with it.

Take it out for at brunch.

New Apartment!

Well, we've moved into our new place in Vancouver. It's a whopping three blocks away from Channing's old place, so not much has changed there, but we now have space! I can now walk past Channing without having to climb onto and over the bed! How novel!

We have a view too, though to be honest these pictures just barely crop out the dumpsters in front of the buildings. Our window faces an alley along the back of the buildings on the main street in our area. Still, we can see the mountains from here, and on a clear night you can see the ski runs all lit up. Another fun fact: this picture was taken at 4pm. You know - right before sunset.

The best part? Check out the bathroom. The 70s were a cruel, cruel time.

Thank goodness for the shower curtain - it covers most of the pink (or "man-salmon" as some have been calling it).

We're also ready for Christmas here at the apartment. I saved up my jack-o-lantern points at Halloween to cash in on a Christmas tree. I think I made the right decision.

And with Christmas trees come Christmas cards. Look for yours in the mail!
