Not much has been happening around here, as evidenced by my frequent posting, so I've been planning more cool things to add to the blog once there finally is something to report. (Yeah, the twins went off to college, but I figure you all got that information from other, somewhat less colorful news sources.)
Anyway, I cobbled together a sort of video using little clips I had taken with my digital camera while in Moorea. No effort whatsoever was made to make it to my usual standards of quality, so it really is here as a test. Better things are in the works, I assure you. Please let me know if you have any troubles seeing it, so I can fix it before the cool stuff starts showing up.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH SLOW INTERNET CONNECTIONS: you may have trouble playing this and future movies, so I will be adding a text play-by-play that reads somewhat like a script so you can still get a sense of what the video is without crashing your computer.

That's amazing. Hannah and I are both impressed (and we think that we are in the wrong majors - should be a marine biologist and go to tropical islands for our senior project). Hope things are going well at home and that the new camera is living up to all your hopes and dreams.
That is amazing! MY roomie also thinks that is is really good. The music sounded familiar, what is it from? So, just checking, you filmed all of it yourself? It is really good.
Ariel (and Hannah) - thanks, and yes you are in the wrong majors.
Emily (and Jennifer) - thanks. The music is from American Beauty, and the film clips are all my own, shot on my digital camera (hence the lousy quality).
